Define what the equipment must do.
A product name is a useful starting point, but it is not a complete specification. Describe the material, operating sequence, output requirement and site constraints. Include existing drawings or photographs where available.
- Application, material and intended operating conditions
- Target output, working shifts and expected duty cycle
- Available dimensions, utilities and site access
- Required supply, installation and inspection responsibilities
Plan the production line as a system.
An AAC line needs balanced raw material preparation, mixing, mould handling, cutting, curing and finished product handling. Evaluate the cycle and capacity of each stage together rather than selecting machines independently.
Include the raw material plan, expected output per day, operating shifts, plot dimensions and utilities in your enquiry. Clarify whether the requirement is for a complete line, a specific section or replacement equipment.
Explore AAC plant equipment ↗Specify operating duty before dimensions.
Volume alone does not define a vessel. The process medium, design pressure and temperature, corrosion conditions, nozzle arrangement and applicable requirements influence its construction and inspection scope.
Share both operating and design conditions where they are available. Ask the quotation to identify material specifications, inspection requirements, documentation and any third-party involvement. These should be confirmed for the actual order.
Explore pressure vessel fabrication ↗Resolve equipment and building interfaces early.
A crane affects its supporting structure. Equipment loads affect platforms and foundations. Large vessels need a realistic delivery route and lifting arrangement. These interfaces should be reviewed before fabrication drawings are finalized.
Provide span, height, access, building drawings and equipment loads. Identify who is responsible for structural design, civil works, electrical supply and site erection.
Explore structural fabrication ↗Compare the scope as carefully as the price.
Two quotations may appear comparable while covering different equipment, materials or installation responsibilities. Ask for a clear list of inclusions, exclusions and interfaces.
| Equipment | Models, quantities, dimensions and agreed duty |
|---|---|
| Materials | Grades, thicknesses, finishes and coatings |
| Inspection | Checks, tests, records and required approvals |
| Site work | Foundations, utilities, erection and commissioning |
| Commercial scope | Transport, delivery, payment terms and support |
Use this guide as a preparation tool. Final engineering requirements must be established by the responsible project team for the intended application.
